The city of New Braunfels is a popular tourist destination in South Texas all throughout the year. Whether walking along the tree-lined streets of downtown in Historic New Braunfels, attending Gruene Market Days events or hitting the streets to take part in the annual German festivities, pedestrians flood the streets in our town. Unfortunately, this increased traffic also increases the risk for pedestrian accidents.

Sadly, pedestrian accidents often have devastating outcomes. Pedestrians have little to no protection when they are involved in accidents with cars and trucks. Low-speed intersection accidents can result in broken bones and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), but high-speed accidents on the roadways can cause grave injuries and even death.

Generally, pedestrians have the right-of-way in all crosswalks and intersections. If you, a family member or friend has been injured while walking or running on the roadway, please call us to discuss your right to recover damages. There will be an experienced attorney available to speak to you about your rights and to discuss your options. Have a safe holiday season and enjoy the many events that our wonderful city has to offer!
